Introducing Nyre!
Writing has always been therapy for me. If I needed to talk to someone, I talked to the notebook paper. My pen was my voice ever since 4rth grade. When I wrote about my pet gerbil that died (after my sister threw him against the piano), I realized I was not too bad of a writer. My classmates laughed so hard when I had to read that story a loud. From there, I continued writing stories and sharing them with people who wanted to read more, but I never finished the story, which became a problem of mine. I would write scenarios after talking and sharing insight about relationships with many of my friends, but there was never a conclusion to these stories because some of these relationships (including mine) were still ongoing.
One of my friends finally told me I needed to publish a book and he gave me the best suggestion: compile all of those unfinished passages to create a book. Even more, since the main themes of these stories were about relationships, they could become something for people to talk about in group discussions...one word that came to my mind was reflection. I reflect on my life everyday, especially on my birthday and New Year's Eve because I like to look back at where I started, see where I am, where I want to be and how I can become better. I am not a complacent person. What I write manifests, which I realize is a gift. Everything I want to accomplish, I visualize and write a plan that becomes reality.
Relationships will not be the only thing I will write about. This is just the beginning of my creativity that I want to share with everybody...and I hope you will embark on this journey with me.
